TeamLab Talk is an instant messenger that provides a real-time communication between the co-workers. It offers all the traditional
features you expect from a messenger - choice of status, history archiving, file transfer, multi-user chat support and more.
1. Using Instant Messenger
You may use TeamLab Talk in two ways:
Use as web client
TeamLab Talk can be accessed right from the TeamLab portal. To start talking with your colleague, just click the Talk link available at anytime on the top of the page.
The contact list is formed by the employees of your company grouped according to department. To start a message session, pick a coworker, type your message and click Send.
Integrate with a third-party client
As an option, you may integrate TeamLab Talk with any third-party desktop/mobile IM client that supports Jabber/XMPP. A new TeamLab Talk account will be added to
your messenger and you'll be able to manage it in the way you are used to. Select the messenger you use from the list below to read the detailed integration instructions.

2. Communication Options
The contact list is updated automatically as people are added/removed from the list of portal users, so you don't have to check it out manually.
TeamLab Talk allows you to:
- exchange instant text messages with your colleagues;
- receive portal notifications;
- create a mailing list;
- organize a chat room.
