TeamLab Calendar is a built-in scheduling tool that helps you keep track of your milestones, company events, meetings, important dates, etc. You can create your own timetable and get reminders setting an appropriate time and choosing the way you'd like to be notified.
1. Schedule your work
To access this tool use the Calendar link at the upper right corner of the portal. By default the calendar shows you:
- milestones of projects you participate in or follow;
- tasks assigned to you within Projects module (only if the due date is set);
- your tasks within CRM module;
- colleagues birthdays;
- events shared with you by other users.
Click any event to see some details, hide/display a group of events switching off/on an appropriate calendar from the Other Calendars section, select the data view (calendar or list), change the time period (day, week or month).
Once you customized your calendar, you can manage your own time. To create a new event select the New event option from the Add drop-down list at the upper left corner or click the day with the left mouse button. The Add new event window will open allowing you to enter the necessary information:
title, start and end date, period of time, related calendar and description.
Configuring the available settings you can:
To publish your event click the Save button at the bottom of the window. All the added events will be related to the default calendar of the My Calendars section.

2. Create new calendar
If the My calendar isn't enough for planning your work, you can create new personal calendars. To add a new calendar select the New calendar option from the Add drop-down list
and enter the name of your calendar, select colors to display events and text, set the alert time (i.e. at what time you will be notified about all events from this calendar by default) and the time zone.
You can transfer events from a specific calendar (Google Calendar, Yahoo! Calendar, Apple iCal Calendar, etc.) into TeamLab Calendar. To do that, export data from other calendar, open the Add new calendar window, click the Import events from... link and select the exported file in the iCalendar format stored on your computer.
After the third party calendar is integrated you can access the events it contains.
Note:
it's also possible to add the iCal feed to TeamLab Calendar, but in this case you will be able to view the events only.
Click the Save button to add your new calendar to the My Calendars section.

3. Share calendars
To maintain an efficient collaboration with your colleagues you can share not only some particular events but also the whole calendar. To do that
use the
icon next to the calendar you want to share from the My Calendars section.
The Edit calendar window will open, click the Add users for sharing link and select one of the options from the Sharing Settings window:
- use the Add users link if you wish to share your calendar with one or several persons;
- use the Add groups link if you wish to share your calendar with all portal users, a group or with portal administrators only.
By default, the calendar will be available in read-only mode. To give the user (or group) full access to the calendar so that he/she could add events, change the event reminder time, etc., select the Full Access option from the drop-down list.
When the access level is set, click the Save button to save changes and close the window.
The Edit calendar window shows persons you shared the calendar with and allows you to check other settings before sharing. Click the Save button once again to apply all changes.
