How to create a new document?

Introduction

No need to create a document and then upload it to the portal. Now you can do it online right on
the TeamLab portal.

Follow the easy steps below to create a new document.

Step 1. Access the TeamLab Documents

Enter your TeamLab portal and click the Documents link.

In case you have already logged in to the portal and been using it for some time click the Documents link at the top of the page.

Step 2. Start a new document

The My Documents folder opens.

The current version of TeamLab Documents allows you to create documents (.doc), spreadsheets (.xls), presentations (.pptx) and drawings (.svg). Click the New File link and select the Create Document option. The file will be added to the list.

Enter a file name and click the Create Create button button.

A blank document will open in the new tab. Write and format the text as you wish using the Formatting Toolbar above which provides many of most common formatting commands such as font style, font color, alignment, etc.

Note! Note: if you use FireFox as your internet browser to start working on newly created document you need to click the Edit icon - Pencil icon to the right of the file.

Step 3. Save the newly created document

When the work is done save your document clicking the Save button in the upper right corner.

The created document will be saved as a .doc file and placed in the My Documents folder. That is all, now you can share it with other portal users or make it available to public (people who don't have access to your portal).

If you wish to save the created document on your hard disk drive, click the Menu button in the upper left corner, select the Download as option and choose one of the available formats: DOCX, DOC, ODT, RTF, TXT, HTML, MHT, PDF. The created document will be saved in the Downloads folder.
