The Create new project page will open. Specify your project Title. Add a short Description. Select a Project manager from the corresponding drop-down list and check the box near this field if you wish to notify the progect manager by email.
If necessary, enter Tags separating them with commas. This will help categorize the project and facilitate the search for the other users.
To restrict access to the newly created project you need to save the project as private. In this case the project will be available only to the project manager and project members with corresponding rights. To do that, check the Yes, I understand it - Add the project as private box at the bottom of the page.
Note:
if you have previously created a template for such projects you can make use of it selecting from the Create from Template drop-down list at the top. It allows you to considerably reduce the time you spend on entering data indicated above. To learn more about how to create a template refer to our Tips & Tricks section.
When everything is ready, click the Add This Project button and proceed to creating a project team.
Note:
if you are a TeamLab administrator you will see the created project in the list of active projects on the Projects tab right away. TeamLab members will need to wait for the administrator to confirm the request.
