How to schedule your workflow?

Once the project is created, the next step is to schedule the workflow using the milestones. A milestone is a key point in the progress of a project.

Follow the steps below to create a new milestone and set its due date.

Step 1. Access the TeamLab Projects

Enter your TeamLab portal and click the Projects link at the center.

In case you have already logged in to the portal and been using it for some time click the Projects link at the top of the page.

Step 2. Select a desired project

Switch to the Projects tab. A new page opens with the list of all the projects you participate in. Open the necessary one by clicking its title.

The project home page will open.

Step 3. Start a new milestone

Switch to the Milestones tab. If there is no milestone created, click the link at the center of the page to plan the first milestone.

If your project contains already some milestones, go to the Actions panel and click the Plan new milestone link.

Enter a title for your milestone in the Title field:

Step 4. Set a due date

The due date of a milestone is the date by which all the tasks attached to it are supposed to be done.

To set a desired due date just select it using the calendar. The set date will be displyed above the Title field. To be notified 48 hours before the due date check the corresponding option below the Title field.

Use the Key milestone option if you create a milestone that you consider to be more important than others.

When everything is ready, click the Add This Milestone button. The same way you can add as many milestones to your project as you wish. The created milestone will be added to the Active milestones list. The Yellow Flag sign before the milestone due date means that this milestone is open.

Once your milestone is added you can proceed to adding tasks.
