The screen shot below, shows an online portal that I set up. It uses the features of TeamLab, which you can find at www.teamlab.com. As you can see, my online portal allows me to upload and share documents, manage projects, exchange images with team members, and collaborate online via chat.
If you've ever tried setting up a portal for commercial purposes, you'll know just how difficult it can be. This one took me about 15 seconds, and I even got to choose my own subdomain name.
TeamLab is free. It's even Open Source, so if you don't want to use their hosted solution you can download the software and run it on your own server instead.
If you run a small business and you need a place to store and share information, TeamLab might well be worth checking out. And if you simply want somewhere to share stuff with your family and friends in a secure, private environment, this looks idea.
