TeamLab.com: Easy Migration from Basecamp to Free Project Management Platform

Ascensio System SIA, the developer of web-based project management tools, announces the availability of Basecamp project import feature for their free open-source business collaboration platform TeamLab.
The new feature is integrated directly in the platform interface and makes it possible to switch from the 37 signals application in one click.
Along with new project management tools, such as time tracking, project tags, and enhanced reporting functionality, TeamLab now includes the Basecamp project import feature.
The feature allows project managers to upload all data stored in their 37 signals accounts to TeamLab, including project milestones and tasks, files, discussion history, employee details, etc.
Similar to Basecamp, TeamLab features all standard project management tools, such as tasks, milestones, discussions, time tracking and online chat.
However, along with the regular project management feature set, it also includes an additional community module with blogs, forums, polls, wiki, bookmarks and much more.
As distinct from its main competitors, TeamLab is offered in 3 solutions: SaaS, open-source and AMI, and all tools are provided free of charge with no functional or time limits.
The platform is considered as a free alternative to proprietary project management applications.

The only 37 signals account details required to start the data import are company URL and API token.
